Sim + Kel
“I saw you at your worst and still thought you were the best.”
Let me tell you about one of my favorite engagement shoots up to date. Now, I'll start off with this: I'm the type of person that has a blast at every session, and chances are, your session will be my next favorite. With that being said, Kel and Sim's is a special case. Kelly has been one of my best friends since I was a senior in high school. We met before a college date party and the rest is history. We would lay in bed and talk about boys, our next adventure, and about all of our dreams. Kelly is a human with extraordinary light coming from her. She can make an entire room light up when she walks in, and she has such a free spirit that no one can compare to.
When her and Simeon started to date, she told me about all of their cute letters to each other, and how sweet he was and is. Simeon is also the type of person who comes off as quiet, but has such a big heart and soul. After meeting him, and seeing his humor and how they both interact together, I was at a loss for words. I have never met two people so aligned with one another.
So let me finish with this before I typed a 5 page story of why I love these two. Kel and Sim are that couple that you can see becoming old together, sitting on their front porch listening to the best music and laughing at nothing. They're going to have a lot of stories to share with their children and grandchildren and I am just grateful I got to be a small part of their journey.
