Luke + Kathryn

“I look at you and see the rest of my life in front of my eyes.”

When Kathryn and Luke asked me to be their wedding photographer, I was estatic! I've known Kat since I was a freshman in college because we were both Tri Deltas. I don't think I've ever had so much fun during a wedding day! Here's their story down below:

"Luke and I met about four years ago at a date party in college at OU. He was a Sig Ep and I was a Tri Delta. We were actually going to the date party with separate dates but somehow ended up hanging out together at the end of the night. I thought he was sooo cute, funny and smart. He had this witty/ confident sense of humor about himself that immediately drew me in. Dating in college was a blast because we loved that our friends were friends with each other and that made spending time together so much more fun.  Fast forward about 3 1/2 years later and we are headed to a family vacation with my family in the Cayman Islands. At this point I had been dreaming of the day when Luke would propose but didn’t think it would be anytime soon. He was so good at keeping this a secret and truly wanted it to be the biggest surprise. He 100% succeeded when he caught me off guard and proposed to me at the end of a dock on our vacation. It was magical. It was fully of laughter, excitement and so much celebrating on that trip. The next 7 months before we got married absolutely flew by. It’s crazy looking back four years ago and remembering dreaming of marrying someone that you were so in love with but knew that it was way too soon to say it out loud, LOL. I just love thinking back to how much we have grown as individuals as well as together. Creating a life together has been the most fun adventure so far!"
